"How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World"

Image
Many of us have followed this franchise for a decade. Fell in love with the characters, saw amazing designs of dragons and were amazed by the adventurous plots and how they seemed to get better and better, but like all good things they must come to an end in the final chapter of this story. One year has passed since the last film and Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) has been filling his father's shoes well as chief and rescuing dragons from trappers to live on Berk in their dragon safe haven. He only has two problems, first being that the small island is able to accommodate the growing population of dragons, the other is the expectation by many for him and Astrid (America Ferrera) to officially tie the knot, something neither of them are in a hurry to do. Yet just as he thinks he's got a handle on things, two new characters come into their lives, one being a new threat named Grimmel (F. Murray Abraham) a dragon trapper who has wiped out Night Furies from this world and has set his

Have you ever wondered how much control of technology we really have? We've all heard of how our phones cut us off from the world around us and how we never talk face to face anymore with social media being our go to source. We've only begun to tap the potential for how technology in our society can influence our lives, but would happen if that technology began to influence us? Miles (James Duval), Noah (Nathan Bexton) and Dale (Denny Kirkwood) are three college graduate students that think nothing about it when they accept a professor's offer to work on a confidential research project. Just another part of this psychopathology class that could make a great impact for their future careers. All they have to do is help in the development of these new devices designed to record and analyze the human brain wave and test it on a few volunteer subjects, simple enough, at least at first. It isn't long until they learn that their professor has a hidden agenda of his own

Normally I don't do post so close together, but with my recent hiatus, I feel I need to make up for lost time. Along with a new made for television movie, I got to view the much anticipated comedy/horror sequel that will have you going back again and again to the first one to keep track of anything you might have missed. Before I get into the plot of this sequel, I want to quickly recap for those who are unfortunate not to have seen the first one. Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe), a sorority girl with a bit of a mean streak wakes up on Monday the 18th which also happens to be her birthday in this guy Carter Davis's (Israel Broussard) dorm room after a night of partying and you see her go through the events of her day, all leading up to her being brutally murdered by someone in a black hoodie wearing the school's mascot baby mask (don't ask why the mascot is a baby, it just is) only to find herself immediately waking up back in Carter's dorm room reliving the day o

"Kim Possible"

Hello again movie fans. Forgive my absence as I was helping spread some love this past Valentine's Day helping out the wonderful people at Vermont Teddy Bear get out their orders on time. Anyway, I've come back with a couple of recent films that have been released this past week. One in particular takes me back to my childhood a little with a live-action twist, I'm talking of course about the new DCOM that premiered last Friday night, Kim Possible. For those of you who may remember the animated series, Kim Possible was a teenage crime fighter/cheerleader that seemed to do the impossible and was a strong female role model for many girls. Along with her bestfriend/clumsy sidekick Ron Stoppable and his pet naked mole rat Rufus, the three take down the baddies while navigating high school together. Now its been brought back for a new generation and has a few new touches. Kim Possible (Sadie Stanley) is a confident teenage girl who's not afraid to strive and do the imp
