"How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World"

Many of us have followed this franchise for a decade. Fell in love with the characters, saw amazing designs of dragons and were amazed by the adventurous plots and how they seemed to get better and better, but like all good things they must come to an end in the final chapter of this story.

One year has passed since the last film and Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) has been filling his father's shoes well as chief and rescuing dragons from trappers to live on Berk in their dragon safe haven. He only has two problems, first being that the small island is able to accommodate the growing population of dragons, the other is the expectation by many for him and Astrid (America Ferrera) to officially tie the knot, something neither of them are in a hurry to do.
Yet just as he thinks he's got a handle on things, two new characters come into their lives, one being a new threat named Grimmel (F. Murray Abraham) a dragon trapper who has wiped out Night Furies from this world and has set his sights on Toothless, the other comes in the form of a white female dragon, a Light Fury.
Faced with the choice to leave their island home and seek out the legendary Hidden World where all dragons come from that Hiccup's father Stoick (Gerard Butler in a brief returning role) once spoke of when Hiccup was a boy, but Grimmel is not about to let his prize get away and pursues them forcing Hiccup and the other Berkian warriors into a final showdown for the fate of dragons and if the world of humans and dragons can continue to co-exist.

A epic finale. With a returning cast, this third installment makes this franchise go out with a bang. It will leave you with bittersweet emotions as these characters many have come to know and love make the choices that will decide their fates and what it means for their futures. Most sequels or the rare trilogies can't live up to the original, but you will not find that in this case. This movie is flying off with five G.M.Stars and will be greatly missed.
