"The Super"

Life can change in an instant, but what comes after can be more uncertain than the event that led you to this moment. Most of the time, we bounce back and find a calm in all the chaos. Yet when chaos ensues around you, it's difficult to get settled and can be even terrifying.

Single father Phil Lodge (Patrick John Flueger) has gone from being an officer to a super for an old luxury apartment complex and forcing his daughters Violet (Taylor Richardson) and young Rose (Mattea Conforti) in to a less than desirable Super's office filled with junk. Some of the residents are friendly like Beverley (Louisa Krause) and a new friend Violet makes Vondell (Travaris Spears) but there are those that come off a little creepy like the other super Walter (Val Kilmer).
As the family gets settled, they learn that residents have been suddenly disappearing without any notice and leaving their things behind. Most believe they just up and left, but Phil can't shake the feeling that something else is going on in this building, one of a supernatural nature that lurks in the building and is getting dangerously closer to destroying his family as he knows it.

Eerily haunting and a suspenseful shocking conclusion that will make your head spin. A suspenseful puzzle that has you putting all the pieces together for a frightening picture. With long angles giving a hint of suspense and Val Kilmer known for his tough hero roles takes on a challenge playing the elder loaner in the basement that can give you the shivers with just one look but may be more than meets the eye to this tale and earning this film three and a half G.M.Stars. So the next time you need to call the super to fix that clogged sink, you may want to think about calling a plumber instead.
