"DC Super Hero Girls: Legends of Atlantis"

With over a week before turkey day, we're all thinking about being together with family and friends and for the kids that may not want to watch a football game or dog show after the big parade, you might want to consider some alternatives to entertain them while you're contemplating having that slice of pumpkin pie after that big meal. For the young aspiring strong women out there, this film may be one to consider.

In the latest installment of the DC Super Hero Girls franchise, we dive under the sea to Atlantis where two sisters Siren and Mera (both voiced by Erica Lindbeck) live on the outskirts of the underwater city relying on themselves and the hope of obtaining the Book of Legends to give them power in the hopes of making Atlantis their home. Yet when the girls of Super Hero High become involved, they must take on the challenge of saving Atlantis. Join Wonder Woman (Grey Griffin), Super Girl (Anais Fairweather), Batgirl (Mae Whitman), Katana (Stephanie Sheh), Bumblebee (Teala Dunn), and help from one of the newest students Raven (Tara Strong) as they venture beneath the waves to protect the fate of their world and bring peace between two worlds.

Empowering and has a youthful charm. This is a film perfect for the family that needs positive female role models along with a few male heroes being portrayed working side by side as equals to them for fun family action and an example of working equally with others for a common goal. While this won't hold a candle to the upcoming Aquaman, this little pearl will swim away with four G.M.Stars to treasure and will be a treasure for all, sea creatures and land lovers alike.
