"2036 Origin Unknown"

Space travel and exploration has been a fascination of ours since we could only look at the stars with a telescope. Now man has discovered planets and seen across the galaxy and yet we have only scratched the surface. The further we explore, the more mysteries we uncover, but what will it mean for our world?

After an exploration to Mars ends in tragedy with the deadly crash that killed her father, Mackenzie "Mack" Wilson (Katee Sackoff) now works from the ground with an artificial intelligent machine put in charge by her sister Lena (Julie Cox) in order to study Mars and have no human casualties. A.R.T.I. (voiced by Steven Cree) as it is called is not something that Mack sees as highly capable as a human who can adjust to situations rather than rely on percentage of probability, but despite her feelings is willing to tolerate A.R.T.I. in order to explore the unknown. The exploration takes a turn for the interesting when a strange cube is discovered on Mars found to be made of unknown origin and materials and has the surprising power to teleport and winds up in Antarctica in the blink of an eye.
As Mack and A.R.T.I. dig deeper into the matter, Mack soon discovers there is more going on than she was led to believe and that A.R.T.I. may have a secret that can change the fate of the planet, for better or worse.

A strange odyssey that looks at man's fate and potential for renewal and brings it into the future. It is a sci-fi lovers dream film for those who question their existence and if we are alone or is there a higher intelligence that will decide our world's fate. The cast of characters painted a color of emotion through the given situations while playing off each other to get their portrayal off as you watch the character of Mack and A.R.T.I. evolve into something that goes beyond a woman and her high tech computer. A four and a half G.M.Star piece that will take you out of this world and beyond your imagination.
