"The Death of Superman"

With all the superhero films coming out this year, it can make it tough to keep up with all the stories. Yet DC Comics is no slouch when it comes to delivering a punch with its original animated motion pictures portraying its great heroes in their darkest hours, and this film may be the darkest hour the DC Universe will face.

With the Justice League well established, heroes like Superman (Jerry O' Connell) Batman (Jason O'Mara), Wonder Woman (Rosario Dawson), Aquaman (Matt Lanter), The Flash (Christopher Gorham), Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion), Cyborg (Shemar Moore) and Martian Manhunter (Nyambi Nyambi) have been making the world a better place, but superhero life doesn't make life easy.
Now in a relationship with Lois Lane (Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O'Connell's wife) Clark Kent (also Jerry O'Connell of course) is at the crossroads where he must decide to let Lois in on his alter ego's life or keep her protected by keeping her at arm's length from his biggest secret.
Meanwhile, Lex Luthor (Rainn Wilson) who sees aliens like Superman as a threat to Earth is hellbent on keeping Earth free of others like him, so when a strange asteroid crashes into the ocean on Earth, he's the first to track it, only to discover that it contains a real threat to life on Earth, Doomsday.

With this seemingly unstoppable juggernaut destroying all in its path and killing anyone that gets close, the Justice League is called in to stop Doomsday, but soon find they are no match for this monster and that they must leave it to the only hope they have left, Superman. It's Doomsday vs. Superman for the fate of humanity and it will have Earth-shattering consequences for all.

Intense and thrilling. DC Comics doesn't disappoint its fans with its amazing cast of characters, the flawless artwork bringing the famed comic to life and a story that will make your heart swell with pride and heartbreaking emotion as it all goes down for your favorite heroes and sets the stage for the next chapter to come. A five G.M.Star masterpiece that will leave your inner-nerd with goosebumps and anticipation for more.
