"Alex and Me"

Many of us have our idols growing up. Singers we strive to be like, athletes that we aspire to be just as great one day. Many of those hopeful dreams start out when we're very young and if we're lucky to make it big, we look back on fondly and pass the inspiration along to those young dreamers. Yet many of them don't appear to us by magic, unless you're like the girl in this story.

Reagan Wills (Siena Agudong) is a young pre-teen dreamer aspiring to be the next great soccer player like her idol Alex Morgan (playing herself) that she has a life-size poster of in her room. Yet after losing her spot on the top ranking team in town that her rival Claire (Jessica Treska) gets to play on and having to deal with her parents Joe and Anne (Jim Klock and Chuti Tiu) focusing more on her older brother Logan's (Matt Cornett) college recruiters for a potential football scholarship leaving them little time to notice her soccer efforts.
In a moment of doubt, Reagan hits her head and wakes up to find Alex Morgan has stepped out of her poster and is talking to her. Figuring out that only she can see Alex, she accepts whatever this is and takes up Alex's offer to train her and even learns from new kid and her secret crush Ben (Colin Critchley) about a underdog team in need of a player, Reagan and Alex work to bring this misfit team up to par to take on the challenge for top spot in the play offs while bringing her family closer together.

An inspiring film with the powerful message to strive for your passion and follow your dreams. Even if soccer is not your favorite sport, you'll love watching "Alex and Me" as they take it to the goal in showing what it takes to make your dreams come true with hard work and perseverance. A positive message for all young girls that nothing is impossible if you keep the faith and never give up. A five G.M.Star performance that family members of all ages will love.
