"Beyond The Edge"

Anyone who's ever gambled knows the first rule is "The House Always Wins". Usually that's the way it should be, except when you're rooting for a group of con artist like in the Ocean's movies. Everyone loves a story about a group of unlikely misfits teaming together to profit from a good heist so they can ride off into the sunset, but what if your team came with powers?

Michael (Milos Bikovic) is your under the radar talented con artist and gambler who has been working on a huge score for months that gets him into a VIP high stakes gambling game, but when an unforeseen factor in that of a hypnotist Alex (Peter Zekavica) makes him lose his hand and takes the money Michael is left to face the dangerous casino owner Victor (Sergey Astakhov) who gives Michael a week to repay the debt or be hunted down and killed.
With little time to prepare for a score this size, Michael seeks out a team of individuals with supernatural gifts. Eric (Aristarkh Venes) a rich party boy with a talent for telekinesis, Tony (Evgeniy Stychkin) a cabby with a family to support and the ability to manipulate electronic devises with his mind. Kevin (Yuriy Chursin) an institutionalized autistic who can hypnotize people for a short while and Veronika (Lyubov Aksyonova) a telepath who can hear thoughts and transmit them to other people.
As the team learns to work together, they find there are obstacles in the way that will not make this easy and those watching such as Gordan (Antonia Banderas) who has his own con game playing out and is connected to Michael. It will take more than powers to succeed and will be a test of both skill and friendship to come out on top.

Intriguing and unique. While this can be confusing at times, the concept of the plot is easy enough to follow and shows imagination in the plot while leaving room for a potential sequel. A blend of "Ocean's 11" and "Now You See Me" blended into a spectacular piece with characters you will empathize with and be rooting for until the end. A five G.M.Star hit that will fascinate you.
