"Avengers: Infinity War"

Well better late than never, the review not the movie. I'm sure all of you out there have heard your two cents about the latest to the Marvel Comic Universe and how it's breaking records even with "Black Panther" having broken many of them just months before. Anyway, those I've promised on Facebook about my review, I will get to the good stuff at the end, until then let's catch up.

As we all know from previous clips featured in other Marvel films, these powerful stones known as Infinity Stones are the sources of great power that can change life as we know it in an instant and that a powerful villain known as Thanos is seeking to possess them to control the universe. Every Marvel movie from Captain America to Black Panther has been leading up to this moment, Thanos's arrival.
Since "Captain America: Civil War" the Avengers have gone their separate ways, many of them being considered fugitives by the U.S. Government, but when Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) suddenly arrives to Earth on the Bifröst having to leave Thor (Chris Hemsworth) with Thanos and his "children" followers he is able to give the warning that Thanos is on his way to gain the two Infinity Stones that are on Earth, one that lies with Vision (Paul Bettany) who is now with Wanda/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and one that is guarded by Dr. Stephen Strange/ Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Meanwhile, a near-death Thor is rescued by none other than The Guardians of the Galaxy and warns them of what is happening and go on their own quest with Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Teenage Groot (Vin Diesel) teaming up with Thor to go forge a new hammer in order to stop Thanos while the other go to the planet Titan to try to stop Thanos from intercepting the final Infinity Stone that up until this point has never been seen in any of the prior films. As the war begins, it soon becomes clear that this is only the first of many battles to come and that the only way to victory is for all to assemble and stand together.

While there's no question this is a film for the ages and not just for the Marvel fan, but one that can make a Marvel fan, it comes with its disappointments. The Infinity War will not be kind and already takes many casualties with it and that unlike the prior Avenger films, it is only the first part, the first battle of many to be fought. Though what it takes away and leaves you brokenhearted, it's cast of many memorable characters that we've watched from the beginning all coming together has been well worth the decade and a half wait and will show the heroes (and even the villains) true colors as they are tested to their limits. While my rating doesn't go past five usually, I'm giving an honorary bonus star, one for each Infinity Stone that will decide the fate of our universe. So for the first time, we have 6 Green Mountain Stars (G.M.Stars) with the hopes of many more from the M.C.U. to come.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌟

*For those unfortunate enough not to have seen the latest M.C.U. film, here is the promised juicy tidbits that will be featured here in this blog.
As many know, Marvel Comic movies are famous for having a little teaser scene during the credits that usually features a new hero, new villain or even an event that will tie into the story later. In this case, you have to stay through all of the credits to see the final scene featured. As to what will be featured, that in good conscious I cannot give away, however I will say that it does announce the arrival of a new character to be featured, one that has been announced to have an upcoming film within the next year so you can find it on IMDB. As to the identity, I will only say that this character's power will be a Marvel and someone that can go toe to toe with Thanos like a fearless Captain going up against an enemy fleet. That's all I can say. So to those of you who've seen it, thank you for reading my review and to those hoping I would drop a good spoiler alert that haven't seen it, shame on you. Go buy a ticket and see it for yourself, because any Marvel film you see after this will leave you lost and confused and Thanos will rule the universe for sure. Don' let Thanos win. Assemble your friends and I'll see you at the movies.
