Fun Mom Dinner

Anyone who's a mom knows that a life of diapers, stepping on toys and chauffeuring noisy children day in and day out can make you want to reclaim your freedom. That's what these four moms decide to do.
Emily (Kate Aselton), Jen (Jessica Chaffin), Melanie (Bridget Everett) and Jamie (Molly Shannon) play four suburban moms with different ways they go about raising their kids get together for a mom's night out that quickly turns into an escapade of crazy antics, drinking and marijuana and having the night of their lives while discovering who they are and discovering the strength of friendship.

This film can be described as a blend of "Bad Moms" and "Rough Night" on a tamer level. I found the characters to be relatable when it came to being down to earth with each other, yet there were times I wondered how many women would behave like this if given the chance. We all wish it, but to make it a reality is unrealistic, yet that just may be the whole point. Just plain old "what ifs" and "wishful thinking".
Yet if you're like these moms and need to let loose (at least in the safety of your living room) and need a laugh. I would recommend it and give it four G.M.Stars. After all, you can't go wrong with a movie where Adam Levine shows up (Spoiler Alert).
